Andy Hargreaves - International Speaker/Presenter

Dr. Hargreaves is the author and editor of more than twenty books in the fields of teacher development, school culture and educational reform. His book Changing Teachers, Changing Times received the 1995 Outstanding Writing Award from the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education. Among his other recent books are Learning to Change: Teaching Beyond Subjects and Standards, Jossey-Bass 2003 (with Lorna Earl, Shawn Moore and Susan Manning) and What's Worth Fighting For Out There? (1998). In addition, Dr. Hargreaves is founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Educational Change (published by Kluwer).

Andy Hargreaves will present a program on Courageous Leadership for Student Success: Building Capacity for Learning Communities. Hargreaves specializes in sustainability of educational change: building learning communities, leadership, and student achievement. The conference promises to be an important education experience for leaders committed to raising student achievement within their school districts while meeting requirements of No Child Left Behind.
